A NOTE FROM NATHAN'S MOM
Writing to connect with
The writing here begins with my own grief after neonatal loss and is shaped by my circumstances, beliefs, and the limits of my experience. These stories are personal, direct, reflective, and sometimes use dark humour. They are not written to revisit pain without purpose, but to put words around my experience in order to help bereaved parents recognize parts of their own stories and give others a better understanding of this kind of loss. Read what speaks to you, rest when you need to, relate in whatever way feels true, and reach out if you want.
Early Days
Personal experiences from the first days and weeks after pregnancy or infant loss that may help bereaved families feel less alone in their own.
