Made for the space after loss
Support may be available and still not feel like somewhere you can land. In the middle of grief, it can be hard to sort through clinical language, scattered resources, or advice that does not feel specific. You may be trying to understand what happened, what needs to be done next, and how to keep moving through a world that does not understand.
Calm-hearted was created from that need. This platform offers personal stories, practical guidance, places to connect, and ways to honour your baby, while sitting alongside medical care, counselling, charities, and other support. The hope is to help bereaved parents feel more recognized and make it easier for the people around them to show up with care.
Genuine, not generic
Calm-hearted is grounded in lived experience and written to sound like a real person, not a grief brochure. The support here is honest, curated, and practical, while leaving room for different losses, beliefs, relationships, and ways of living with grief.
Personal, not institutional
Finding support should not feel like getting lost in a system or searching alone for language that fits. Calm-hearted offers clear places to begin, direct connection, and words that feel closer to the realities bereaved parents and their people are navigating.
Complement, not replacement
Hospitals, counsellors, charities, and community organizations provide essential care. Calm-hearted offers a softer starting point with personal stories, remembrance, connection, and thoughtful support for the people and workplaces around bereaved parents.
